Snowboarding adventures continues - #MyPictureDay contest submission ~ Testing new gear near mountain Golte part - 2

Today I decided to share my second part from my last snowboarding trip near mountain Golte (Slovenia). As I got new snowboarding gear two weeks ago I had to go test it out, so I called my buddy, picked him up and went straight up the mountain. I already shared the first part of the story how I got up there.

These shots were taken in afternoon when me and my friend had about an hour and half of light left. This location is well known to me, we mainly used to come up here with friends and party at the old cottage few years ago. Now it's just a perfect remote location where there's peace and cows everywhere most of the year, but in Winter it's a perfect snowboarding location.

On top of this mountain you actually get to skiing resort Golte, but we had just enuf mixture of snow and ice that we were able to still have a lot of fun, alone and free. As I was testing out my new snowboarding boots, jacket and gloves, my friend also got a GoPro for his birthday that he was testing out aswell. Hopefully I'll get videos to make a little montaze.

Tried to make a few Macro photos as well.

Here we started going back up the hill, to take last few shots on top and ride back down to the car. Had a lot more control on my board even though there was mainly mostly frozen and I would have really trouble riding with my old gear. It's warm, comfortable, gloves allow me to make shots a lot faster as I don't have to take them off and I'm a lot more confident and in control on my snowboard.

Here is the last shot where we had to stop and set the fence back as it was and ride our way back to the car.

At the end of the day we were really exhausted but also really happy with our new gear. Had awesome time shredding down the hill and some quality time with my old friend.

Waiting for another bigger package of snow now and hopefully go a little bit higher mountain next time. :)
