Being Mindful and Getting Your Happiness From Being Present

in #life5 years ago

Did you ever wonder if you should be more mindful in every aspect of life? I mean, everything? Why is this needed? What can it do for me? Well, let's find out.

Mindfulness is not being conscious of what is going on around you. Mindfulness is not being aware of things around you, being mindful is kind of like being aware of time, kind of like being aware of your vocabulary, being aware of how many times those groceries cost, being aware of where you place your feet every morning or night being aware of any kind of negative self talk going through your head. None of that really needs to happen consciously. Your mindfulness is just kind of there... like a presence, it's not doing any work, but it does make you feel good being present.

In other words, the key to feeling good when you're doing all these little tasks, is to learn to be mindful about them. Being present in the moment doesn't necessarily mean that you are being mindfulness. It's important to realize that mindfulness is not about being aware, but rather about being fully present. One thing that has been getting a lot of attention lately is multi-tasking. Multi-tasking is a good way to get things done, and it gets people moving around. However, many times those tasks aren't really doing anything for you, they're just passing your attention around.

One way that you can practice mindfulness exercises is to practice awareness before you do anything else. One of the biggest problems with multi-tasking is not really giving yourself time to fully be mindful. The first few times that you do something, whether it's a task, a project, or a walk around the block you might have to focus on it for awhile. After awhile, you'll want to step back and really take a look at your situation. What is it that you are doing?

The mindfulness exercise is to focus on your in-breath and out-breath. The in-breath refers to your physical sensations such as heart rate, perspiration, and digestion. The out-breath is all about letting go of that sensation and being able to observe it. One of the easiest ways to do this is to focus on your breath while eating your food. Even if you're not conscious about it while you're eating, consciously focusing on your breath will help you to eat more healthily.

Another great way to practice awareness is with meditation. Meditation involves sitting in a comfortable place, closing your eyes, and breathing deeply. You can begin by focusing on your breathing, and taking slow and deep breaths. This is a great way to bring more focus and awareness into your life, as well as being able to calm yourself down and become more calm and relaxed when in stressful situations.

When you meditate, make it a point to observe your breath. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth is important. You want to become as relaxed as possible so that your mind does not think about the things that are causing you stress or unhappiness. This can be done quite easily with mindful breathing. It helps to keep a positive outlook and promotes happiness, as well as helping to bring you into a state of awareness.

While there are many people who say that being mindful is a good way to bring happiness into your life, there are also many people who do not know how to start. For this reason, there are many programs that teach mindfulness. There are also many places where you can learn mindfulness on your own through books, meditation, and even videos. Regardless of whether you decide that it is something that you want to pursue on your own or you choose to enroll in a school that teaches mindfulness, you will find that it can be very beneficial and can help you to feel happier and more peaceful in your daily life.
