I hope you're all doing great. Today, I'm sharing a post in this community titled “My Journey on Steemit”. Actually, since this is an entry for a contest where seven questions have been asked, I'll base my post around them and aim to be straight to the point. So, let's dive in!
I'm not going to sugarcoat this – it was the potential to earn money. Yes, you heard that right! Now, I could be wrong, but with how Steemit is advertised, I reckon about 95% of people join it thinking about earnings. Try searching for “Steemit” on YouTube and see what pops up.
By the way, I first found out about this platform from YouTube at the end of 2021. I was watching videos related to cryptocurrencies when a YouTuber mentioned Steemit. I've spoken about this in my intro post, which you can find linked in the footer of all my posts. If you're curious, feel free to check it out.
When I started exploring Steemit, I slowly realised it's more than just an earning platform. If you come here solely for the cash, you'll probably end up frustrated – I sure did. It took me two months just to get a handle on the ecosystem. Plus, I had a hard time figuring out what kind of content gets more appreciation.
Then life got in the way – I had a research project for my MS in Chemistry and faced some complications due to COVID. I took a break from Steemit. But, later on, I resumed my journey, made some friends here who guided me, and today, I’m proud to say I’ve made a place for myself on this platform, or at least that’s what I think.
Sometimes there are long gaps where I don't get much support, and I've never really understood why. But I always strive to improve. However, I genuinely feel my content is valued in various communities. It's not just talk – just check out the stats screenshot below. With just 175 posts and a reputation score of 67, you can gauge the quality of my content and the support I've received.
I love creating content without boundaries. Reading and writing fictional stories is something I really enjoy, but I also enjoy crafting informative articles or sharing personal opinions on specific topics. I've noticed that diary games get a lot of love here, but I've never tried writing one. Maybe in the future!
To be honest, many comments seem like they're made because of the rule that you have to engage with other entries. But there are a few authors whose words carry weight, and their heartfelt comments are much appreciated. I'll drop a few screenshots below. If I miss out on anyone – my bad, but there are many out there whose comments I deeply value.
With the rise in scams and abuse on this platform, trusting people has become challenging. However, I always try to appreciate and guide honest users through my comments. I can't pull up every supportive comment right now – that'd take ages. But I remember one recent interaction, and I've added the screenshot here.
Although this author has now deleted his post, as far as I remember, he said at the beginning of his post that he doesn’t have much knowledge about this topic but still he is trying. Despite his honesty, he received a discouraging 3.5/10 rating, which may have prompted him to delete the post. Or, there could have been other reasons, I don’t know. I understand that moderators are bound by some rules, but at least this aspect should be kept in mind that your words or "actions" should not discourage anyone.
Honestly, I have no clue. It is possible that I may not be able to survive on this platform… 😔
Wrapping up, I'd say Steemit's ecosystem needs a few tweaks. Admins and mods should be "trained". The verification process for newcomers needs an overhaul. Moreover, there should be clear guidelines and training on AI-generated content because it poses a significant threat to Steemit…

Espero que estéis todos muy bien. Hoy comparto una publicación en esta comunidad titulada “Mi viaje en Steemit”. En realidad, dado que esta es una entrada para un concurso en el que se formularon siete preguntas, basaré mi publicación en torno a ellas y trataré de ir directo al grano. Entonces, ¡sumergámonos!
No voy a endulzar esto: era la posibilidad de ganar dinero. ¡Sí, oíste bien! Ahora bien, podría estar equivocado, pero con la forma en que se anuncia Steemit, creo que alrededor del 95% de las personas se unen pensando en las ganancias. Intente buscar "Steemit" en YouTube y vea qué aparece.
Por cierto, conocí esta plataforma por primera vez a través de YouTube a finales de 2021. Estaba viendo videos relacionados con criptomonedas cuando un YouTuber mencionó Steemit. Cuando comencé a explorar Steemit, poco a poco me di cuenta de que es más que una simple plataforma de ingresos. Si vienes aquí únicamente por dinero en efectivo, probablemente terminarás frustrado; yo seguro que lo hice. Me tomó dos meses entender el ecosistema. Además, me costó mucho determinar qué tipo de contenido obtiene más reconocimiento.
Entonces la vida se interpuso en mi camino: tenía un proyecto de investigación para mi maestría en química y enfrenté algunas complicaciones debido al COVID. Me tomé un descanso de Steemit. Pero luego retomé mi camino, hice aquí algunos amigos que me guiaron y hoy tengo el orgullo de decir que me hice un lugar en esta plataforma, o al menos eso creo.
A veces hay largos intervalos en los que no recibo mucho apoyo y nunca he entendido realmente por qué. Pero siempre me esfuerzo por mejorar. Sin embargo, realmente siento que mi contenido es valorado en varias comunidades. No se trata sólo de palabras, simplemente mira la captura de pantalla de estadísticas a continuación. Con solo 175 publicaciones y una puntuación de reputación de 67, puedes evaluar la calidad de mi contenido y el apoyo que he recibido.
Me encanta crear contenido sin límites. Leer y escribir historias de ficción es algo que disfruto mucho, pero también disfruto redactar artículos informativos o compartir opiniones personales sobre temas específicos. He notado que los juegos de diario reciben mucho amor aquí, pero nunca intenté escribir uno. ¡Quizás en el futuro!
Para ser honesto, muchos comentarios parecen hechos debido a la regla de que debes interactuar con otras entradas. Pero hay algunos autores cuyas palabras tienen peso y sus sinceros comentarios son muy apreciados. Dejaré algunas capturas de pantalla a continuación. Si me pierdo a alguien, es una pena, pero hay muchos cuyos comentarios valoro profundamente.
Con el aumento de estafas y abusos en esta plataforma, confiar en las personas se ha vuelto un desafío. Sin embargo, siempre trato de apreciar y guiar a los usuarios honestos a través de mis comentarios. No puedo obtener todos los comentarios de apoyo en este momento; eso llevaría años. Pero recuerdo una interacción reciente y agregué la captura de pantalla aquí.
Aunque este autor ahora ha eliminado su publicación, hasta donde recuerdo, dijo al comienzo de su publicación que no tiene mucho conocimiento sobre este tema, pero aún así lo está intentando. A pesar de su honestidad, recibió una desalentadora calificación de 3,5/10, lo que pudo haberlo llevado a eliminar la publicación. O podría haber otras razones, no lo sé. Entiendo que los moderadores están sujetos a algunas reglas, pero al menos se debe tener en cuenta este aspecto para que sus palabras o "acciones" no deban desanimar a nadie.
Sinceramente, no tengo ni idea. Es posible que no pueda sobrevivir en esta plataforma…
Para concluir, diría que el ecosistema de Steemit necesita algunos ajustes. Los administradores y mods deben estar "capacitados". El proceso de verificación para los recién llegados necesita una revisión. Además, debería haber directrices claras y capacitación sobre el contenido generado por IA porque representa una amenaza significativa para Steemit...

But jesy jesy ap apni journye continue krty communities join krty participate krty ap ko pta chalta ye just earning k lye ni ha but aik proper social platform ha. Jahan ap engage krty ho logon k st, ap apna view share krty ho, apni hobbies btaty ho, apni daily life share krty ho just like ap social media pe krty.

Desconocía que tenías formación en Química, interesante, este tipo de temas son cosas que en Steemit (lamentablemente) no se le dan ningún tipo de valor, así que entiendo que no escribas al repecto.
La permanencia aquí la debe definir uno mismo, en base a lo que aspira conseguir, creo que no debemos enfocar esto en lo económico, porque sino puede llegar a ser muy frustrante.
Los comentarios vacíos podemos encontrarlos en muchos espacios, incluso aquí, pero es normal, a veces dejar un comentario implica leer, pensar lo que se va a responder, etc, y o todos están dispuestos a dejar un comentario que sume, sino más bien aparecer en listados entre los más comentadores, es el detalle.
En fin, mucho por analizar, aunque al final no vaya a cambiar.
Por cierto, en Comunidad Latina debes escribir en español o portugues, puedes mantener el inglés (si no me equivoco) pero debe haber una versión en español. Saludos.
