90 Day Workout Challenge Day 20
Day 20
We've made it to day 20 of the 90 Day workout challenge which is unbelievable! I never thought I would be this consistent with working out after I retired, but Steemit acts as a great motivator!
A slight injury to one of my toes is making it hard to do my normal 2 miles, so I just decided to do a lifting workout today.
Day 18 and 19, which were my two rest days went well, even though I didn't get much rest do to my uncontrollable urge to party, but blowing off some steam is a necessity during this period of my life!
Workout
I focused on my chest and abs today doing 3 sets of 10 reps of each machine.
- Incline Chest Press
- Flys
- Chest Press
- Weighted Sit-ups (2 sets of 25)
- 5 min cool down on the bike
It was a relatively quick in and out day since I didn't complete my two miles, but I am happy I can upload this earlier than normal! Hope you all had a good red day, and scooped up some cheap coins!

Lmao the crazy thing is I've gained weight since I started working out again haha I just hope its more muscle than fat XD!

Ughh I gained weight on my trip... snacks... sitting down a lot whether on planes, waiting areas, vehicles or with family. Too busy to walk the city and for the most part too cold - it hit -7 F on my first night there.
But I'm-a get back on track!

But yeah I feel that, it's been -1 where I'm at for the last week and I've been swamped at work that I almost didn't make it haha
It's definitely a messy time for me.
I've reached sumo status by now, well not quite lolzzz...
Will I get to the point where I have a bit more structure in my days? XD I may be a bit over-aggressive in my steem goals, but it makes sense to "pay now, play later"...
A lot of it's diet for me... stupid carbs - and time management ☺
Taking the rest of the night off to recover VP, at least I'm getting better at that :D
Lmao my consumption of VP is a problem haha But I feel you on not having free time!
And yeah, you can low key not workout at all and just kill it on the Diet side of things!
And hell yea to pay now, play later! That private island won't pay for itself ahaha
If I didn't have a dog who ate better than most people, I'd have a treadmill by now XD He's the size of a small wolf and has the appetite of one too!
So some days walking him is the only exercise I get...
Yep I'm tenaciously holding onto steem earnings, haven't powered down once so far, fortunately. :)
Are you also getting regular measurements done for weight, BMI, etc? Any particular goals you want out of this challenge?
I'm just weighing myself every so often. I used to run Track in undergrad so I'm not in that bad of bad of shape, but I noticed myself losing a lot of muscle and gaining fat recently, so I guess my goal is to just look more aseptically pleasing without getting as big as I was in undergrad!
