Episode 18
Welcome to another edition of Mid Afternoon Thoughts! I didn't have much time to write the blog portion for this post, but hopefully you get something worthwhile from the video. It's only a few minutes, so it shouldn't take long to watch.
Today I was in real deep thought about the importance of maintaining balance in my life. I've been trying to not get too high when my life is going great, and not get too low when I'm faced with turbulence. Let me know how you all maintain Balanchine your lives in the comments! To answer, hell yea I agree. Nobody's happy all the time. I think there is an underlying version of yourself that you can train to be stoic, peaceful, and optimistic. That doesn't mean life won't suck sometimes. It just means, you know you will be back strong soon.
Waves on the surface of the ocean doesn't mean the water 1000 feet down is all disturbed.
