Reinvention - Poetry
From twisted, aching hearts
grows a window-
The sun winks, glistening through
slow, distorted clouds.
A vision obscures
With all we must endure
All we think we know,
There comes a parting-
A severance of the bone, from sinews.
We bleed more tears
Than souls should shed,
Vanquishing armies all in our heads.
Banishing logic
Begging love to stay-
Basking in sunlight’s
Warmth upon our face.
