Off The Beaten Path - Fun Photography

Sometimes I find myself in the mall, trust me, only as needed. Mall prices are terribly overinflated so I'd prefer supporting local independent stores and Bargain is my first name but I love a good browse and my artistic eye catches things that I have to capture for the fun factor.

I love trying on hats, they don't stay on my head long, but it's fun to see how a hat changes your look. How's this hand crocheted pink number from a TKO Vapor shop look? The owner allows local vendors to sell handmade items.

Beanies are another hat entirely. They don't suit me, I think, but the colors attract me. They work great with hoop earrings!

Hot Topics is an alternative shop with pricey clothes and novelty items. It's fun to poke around in there. Sometimes I pick up items for my teen grandkids.

My granddaughters draw and share Creepy Sans art like this on Tumblr. Apparently it has quite a bit of a cult following.

Some t-shirts say what you want about life.

I'm a kid at heart, so these guys always make me smile and eat my quarters when the kids are with me..."Gramma, can I ride the dinosaur?" What can I say? The dinosaur gets my nest egg.

I like them all, this guy spoke to me. He was just begging for my quarters.

Life throws many opportunities my way to observe and when I'm in Rome, I do as the Romans do and let the cards fall where they may. All photos were taken in the Millcreek Mall in Erie, Pennsylvania and the wallet damage was minimal!
