Hi Steemians!

I went through pictures of my previous art works and came across this piece from nine years ago. Nine years ago was also my final year of high school. 😱

我最近在清洁我以前的艺术作品的时候找到了几张照片从九年前拍的。九年前也是我在高中的最后一年。😱

I studied visual art throughout the majority of my high school years because I was very passionate about art and even loved the story behind each artwork. My painting also has a story behind it.

我在高中的时候学过视觉艺术，因为我对艺术非常热情，并且喜欢每幅作品背后的故事。我这个作品也有它的故事。

Throughout most my high school years I lived with my grandmother while my parents were overseas for work. Although my parents weren't with me, I did not feel lonely as I lived with my grandmother and I also had great friends at school who kept me busy.

在高中的时候我跟我奶奶一起住因为我父母在国外工作。虽然我父母不在我身边但是我没有觉得孤单应为有奶奶在。我也交了好多好朋友。

My grandmother raised a cat who also kept me company during those years and especially when I am doing my homework. As a student, my wake up time was 7:00AM and exactly at that time the cat would be outside my bedroom door, asking me to let him go outside to play.

我奶奶养了一只猫。在那么多年它也有陪我，特别是我做功课的时候。作为学生，我每天都在七点起床。在这个时候也是猫猫要出去的时间。它会坐在我房间门口等我开门给它出去玩。

This artwork was my final project during my last year of high school. It took about 3 weeks to complete this painting. It was sent to the Department of Education to be assessed along with my classmates' art pieces. Most of us received our artworks back however mine was not returned as I was told that the Department of Education has sent it to the art gallery to be displayed along with other art pieces that were considered 'outstanding' from other schools. At that moment I felt very honoured!
