Beverage with friends: Close to Heaven at Haven Cafe
Can you imagine sipping your favorite drink while admiring the picturesque view of Mother Nature's creations?
With just an hour drive from the busy city of Cebu, you can reach the humble mountainous town of Balamban. Here you can find Haven Cafe of West 35 Eco Mountain Resort.
When we got there, it was still around 7 in the morning. It's perfect that the cafe opens exactly 7 am. We were among the first customers of the day.
As for our breakfast, we ordered Lychee Shake and American Breakfast. I'm glad the lychee shake was made with real lychee. I can still feel some pulp and tid bits. Artificial flavoring feels so rough on my throat. I didn't know lychee goes well with chocolate cookies.
As for our fully loaded breakfast, the meal had waffle, scrambled egg and bacon. It had all my breakfast favorites in one plate! It makes me teary-eyed tasting the waffle with blueberry toppings. Another one of my cravings.
Before digging in to the fully loaded breakfast, can't help to take a picture of it first.
Burp! The aftermath. It's not so obvious that we were satisfied with the food.

That lychee shake makes me wanna grab one too. Sayang, in my place, often they use canned lychee instead of the fresh one.
