STEEMIT: The Golden Goose that Keeps on Laying Golden Eggs
You’ve probably heard of the fable of the farmer who bought a goose who started laying golden eggs everyday. The farmer would then sell the golden egg and make good profits everyday.
But after a short while the farmer got greedy and wanted more than just a golden egg a day. He reckoned that if he cut open the goose he might find a huge chunk of golden eggs that would eventually make him rich.
And he did just that. To his dismay and disappointment there were no golden eggs in the stomach of the goose. And he also lost the goose as he had killed it.
He was then back to his old life of poverty and misery.
Steemit is currently our golden goose that keeps on laying golden eggs. We keep getting paid on steemit everyday for our content.
The current bear market has made many altcoins to severely dip but thanks to steemit we still get money for as long as we keep churning fresh content.
Let us not be greedy and do foolish things that ruin steemit. Let us continue producing fresh, original content. Let us continue spreading steemit to new people, let us continue building dApps on the steemit blockchain etc.
Whatever good we have been doing, let us continue with it because one day when steemit is mentioned high above current giants like Facebook and Twitter, we’ll be very proud of it as the initial nurtures who never killed the golden goose.
