From the outside, we hide a lot of who we are from the outside world, only to show it off "when it's dark". From the inside, it's to show how each one of us has an inner spark. Those are a couple reasons why they're bottled up. :)

thank you for the inspiration. you have allowed me a new perspective to look at darkness as a call for us to shine even brighter than before. I do believe in fairies, I really do :] (maybe not in their small human form, but I have met their magical energy in different life forms)
