Steemit Reward Perspective... When The Price Is Low
It has been a rough two months for the price of Steem and SBD, but there is one thing you should keep in mind. It doesn't matter the price... you're still getting the same amount.

What does that mean?
If you believe in the Steemit platform and post regularly, then you are going to win. You are still getting the same amount of Steem and SBD as you would when the value is high. It just isn't worth as much right now. That means that when the value goes back up, so will all the SBD and Steem you made when it was low.
A single SBD is now worth around $3.50, but in a year that same Steem Backed Dollar could be worth $10.
By staying active when things are down, your reward will come when the price goes back up, and it will go back up.
Steem is one of the best blockchains in the game and with new projects like Appics, things are only going to get better.
I know some people don't post as regularly when the price of Steem is down, but it shouldn't matter the price. Accumulating Steem and SBD right now will help grow your crypto portfolio and when it goes back up, you'll be glad you put in all that time.
For a lot of people that joined from November through early January, the price may be frustrating and compel people to not be as active. The opposite should be true if you believe in the platform. Now is the time to accumulate and post more because some people are not posting as often. You have a better chance for your stuff to be seen.
When I joined, the price of SBD and Steem were around $1 each and even the $3.50 price now is a huge bump. It's all about perspective. If you believe in the platform, now is the time to really spend time here and grow your account.
Personally, I have been plagued with a lot of life that has gotten in the way of my Steemit postings. A storm that took out 6 trees in my yard that is taking a lot of time to clean up, a pulled calf muscle and working hard to make some extra money after I lost a few clients for my personal business. Everyday, I'm not on Steemit I hate it and no matter what, I try to post as often as I can. I believe in this platform and I know one day, it will all pay off in spades. Until then, I keep trying to post valuable content and interact with the wonderful people that comment on my posts.
Keep at it, no matter the price of Steem and SBD, I promise, it will pay off.
I hope you have a great day!
Comment below with why you keep Steeming even when the price is low.
Thanks for reading.

Hmmmm.... Yeah...this is so encouraging.. I believe in steem either low or no.... I rep the great community...
Nice one @walkingkeys
Me too! Thanks for the great reply and Steem on!
Interesting info, Yeah you are right, and when value of sbd increases you saved sbd's will also give you something to cheer about :p
Hey man, I really appreciate all the support and comments on my posts. You rock. Thank you!
I post when I can. It is not as often as some.
But I believe in Steem too!
Everyone should keep putting thoughts out on webs and earning dough for it.
Yes!!! lol, you are right. I hope you are doing well Doctor Crypto. It might be time for me to get a new banner, you down to do another one?
I wonder if the price don't remain the same how come will we get the same amount? It would be great if i understand that. Anyways i have seen people giving knowledge to the minnows you really are one of them.
The rewards are paid out in Steem and SBD regardless of the value. I'm still earning about 1 sbd or so per post, but they just are not worth as much right now, so the value seems lower. I'm still earning the same amount of SBD as I would if the price was much higher. I hope that helps. It's like being paid an ounce of silver an hour for a job regardless of the price of silver. If the price of silver goes up, then all the silver I have accumulated will go up and I'll still get paid an ounce per hour, it is just worth more. Have a great day and you got a new follower.
Okay now i got it. So you are saying you earn same quantity but they are not worth much. Thanks for clearing confusion.
Agree with not getting my reading/community time in here! Flu times 2, gardening, hubby's retirement all things grabbing my time away from here!
It can be tough! I hope you feel better. The flu is no joke. I'm just hobbling around on one leg, but feel good. Just takes 10 times longer to do anything. Have a great day!!!
Yes, bro you are right..
Now SBD rate is downwarding ......but SBD wil forwarding as soon...
Thnaks for informative post ...
I think you are right and I really appreciate you taking the time to read and respond. You got a new follower.
I think you right, but I have different prediction, you can read my post at
https://steemit.com/politics/@danishguree/ini-penyebab-harga-sbd-tidak-jadi-naik-di-awal-bulan-maret-2018
and remember it's just my prediction and it's not spam, ok
Thanks for the reply. you got a new follower and I will check out your post.
People don't realize when the price goes up the value of your vote does too. It's easier to build your sp when the price is down too. All the work now will pay off down the road. I bought some steem at a dollar and it was a downer to buy 100 sp and your vote didn't even rise by a cent. It seemed hopeless. Now when I look back I wish I bought more at a dollar. I made it all back selling 10 dollar sbd anyway. The whole value of my account now is pure profit. Steem was the smartest thing I did in 2017
You are 100% right and I agree about joining in 2017. I am thankful I found this site early. Hell, we're all still early. lol It's only beta. Have a great day and I really appreciate you taking the time to read.
Validated. Keep posting and don't focus on the price. Regular quality content is always a good bet. I also want to point out that if your muse is being elusive make sure you are curating and commenting. It's also an important part to our ecosystem/economy. I usually go in a curation spree when I'm trying to come up with a post.
Such a great tip! You are so right. I do the same thing, but I'm so damn opinionated that I rarely don't have something to say, lol. I hope you have a wonderful day Jason and thank you so much for reading and replying. It means a lot.
Man, I hear you. I was around and active when STEEM was between 15 and 20 cents. I held on because of the reason you posted: I was sure the platform would grow and grow, and that growth would eventually raise STEEM's price.
I did lose my nerve in early '17 and more-or-less "fright quit" cryptocurrency entirely. One day, about a year ago, I snuck a peek at Coinmarketcap and saw STEEM at... 8.5 cents.
To be honest, I panicked for a bit.Not that it mattered, because all my STEEM was in Steem Power.
One of my big after-the-fact regrets is that I didn't buy more at that price. I could have snagged a (small-)whale-sized haunch for US$10,000.
For perspective, to make the point that adopting the attitude in your post when STEEM was much lower did pay off.
