Sankt kein Advent (D) / Saint no Advent ( E)

Heute laufe ich nur im Kreis herum.

Ich hatte vor nichts zu tun, auszuruhen weil bald wieder eine Strecke fahren werde. Das ist ziemlich anstrengend und dauert vorallem lange wenn es viel Stau gibt oder "Schläfrigkeit" eine Rolle spielt.

Schon früh war ich dabei Teig zu kneten. Heute haben wir ja den 5. Dezember und "kruidnoten" (Kräuter Nüsse) und "pepernoten" (Pfefferkuchen) gehören dazu mit Advent beschäftige ich mich nicht obwokl die Kinder einen Adventskalender bekommen haben. Da stehen "kabouters" (Gartenzwergen keine Elfen drauf).

Plötzlich erinnere ich mich, dass ich noch meine Reifen wechseln soll, oder habe ich das doch schon gemacht?
Tatsächlich, ich fahre noch immer mit Sommerreifen herum (in der Niederlande erlaubt).
Dann erst das Auto leer machen und reifen darein.

Der Vorderreifen ist platt. 😖.
Ok, ganz langsam in der Stadt und erst auto putzen. Frage nicht es aussieht. Dreck und Schafscheiße hängen drunter und da voll reingreifen, möchte ich dem Mechaniker nicht antun. Der Reifen an der Tankstelle aufgepumpt und dann in der Reihe. Warten bis ich dran bin. Es ist mir kalt und hoffentlich dauert es nicht lange mehr. Meine Hände und Füße sind fast gefroren. Hoffentlich gibt es noch Zeit für ein warmes Fußbad bevor ich wieder zur Schule fahren muss.

Today I just walk around in circles.

I had not much to do, intended to rest because soon I drive a long distance again. This is quite exhausting especially if there is a lot of traffic jam or "drowsiness" is involved.

I kneaded dough early this morning (at 6:30 am). Today we have the 5th of December and "kruidnoten" (herb nuts) and "pepernoten" (pepper nuts) are part of it, with advent I do not keep myself busy although the children have an advent calendar.. There are "kabouters" (gnomes no elves) on it and little chocolates behind the 24 doors.

Suddenly I remember that I should change my tires, or did I already do that?
I checked the ones in the shed... wrong I still use the summer tires (which is allowed in the Netherlands).

The front tire is flat. 😖.
Okay, slowly into the city and first I need to clean the car. Better not ask what it looks like. Dirt and sheep's shit allover it and big bunches half frozen underneath the it. I do not want the mechanic to grap in that.
The flat tire I gave a bit air at the gas station and after that I can stand in line. Wait until it's my turn. It is cold and hopefully it will not take much longer. My hands and feet are almost frozen. I hope there is still time for a warm foot bath before I have to go back to school to
