Relieved and considered lucky

Some people.... Are annoying from the day you meet them. You try to be friendly, have a chat but they immediately get touchy and try to push you into something you do not want.
Still, you try to be polite because after all, a friendly world can brighten up someone's day.
Next, they start claiming, following you, text you and each word said is always about sex. Empty promises, saying it's just joking around but all those remarks together passed the funny, humour stage long ago.
A cry for help because a friend, a real friend can be used, a cry out of loneliness you give in to by asking: How are you?
Immediately you are overruled and the averse against this person pops up again. Gone is the good mood. All the suggestive remarks are not funny. The last talk weeks ago turned out to be not as good as you thought. Nothing changed this person's behaviour. It's time to delete this person from my life. While I figure out how to block the phone number the last words popping up on my screen are: now I know why you are single you have no humour at all.

You know what? Some people, people like this make me happy and realize I no longer need to accept this. I am free, can do as I like. No one controls me, abuses me, uses me, cries because of he feels so lonely and could use a good friend. No one to please except me. You cannot imagine what a relief this is. Indeed after all these years I still consider myself lucky I am single. Being single makes me complete.
