Found art Google translates it into "vond art" which doesn't make sense.
"Art" is not a Dutch word so it's nonsense. Just like a lot translated by google. Frequently if I type a word in Dutch it asks me if it should translate out of African.
Why does it ask that if I say "Dutch"?
What kind of language is African exactly? If I remember it well it is Dutch, Dutch spoken long ago. It is the same if it comes to Flemish. Flemish is Dutch too.
At times Google finds other languages as well that seem to fit great to the word I typed down and if this is not the case Google simply changes the word given. It's no problem and done within a second. Google knows how to make sense out of nonsense and nonsense out of sense.
It gives me a lot to think about, some break their brains over the translation and others accept it or make youtube videos about it.
If you ask me certain languages are translated in a way better way. Someone or way more people invested in it. It's not different from Wikipedia. Search for the same subject in different languages and you see a huge difference if it comes to the information given. Once I read exactly the opposite information about one person I searched for. That makes one think.
Yesterday I noticed English and French have all kinds of examples of how a word is used.
I studied French for a while. If it comes to German, Dutch and Spanish no examples are given, no synonyms either and at times Google takes the easy way out. The translation is exactly the same as the word given.
Still, I feel about Google the same as the cleaning lady in hospital who asked me if I have Google translate on my phone so she could answer me. Slowly she typed letter by letter down and Google translated it: Desinfecting.
As she saw my face and knew I understood she said with a big smile on her face: "Google is my friend."
Google translate is my friend too.
It might not be my best friend but it makes it possible to communicate with more people worldwide and if Google doesn't know or shows nonsense I ask my children or search somewhere else.

Thank you for the invitation @wakeupkitty. Google translate is also one my best friend too. There's another application, I forgot the name. They said it better but you've got to pay for it monthly. I prefer google because it's free. I only need to pay for my internet. 😅
I agree with you. I cannot afford to pay for everything. Might be it's better but there's a small chance I can check that out. Most important is I get the picture. Might be the translation is not great but I take the effort. I know many are not willing to. They only read in their own language.

I read mostly what's written in English but if anyone reply me in any other language I would definitely translate it so that I may reply.
The importance of a good cover picture, I know google translate does not work well, but I do use it for a lot of post that I read. I sometimes see a cool picture and just need to know what the story/post is about.
