Fully charged

Today I decided to take a break.

Believe it or not, but the lockdown, the wish for more sleep didn't come true, neither it create more time for me. I really hoped it would but driving up and down resulted in homeschooling, frustration about the internet connection, and being busy from early to late at night.
The past months we're filled with car repairs, dizziness, confusion, being unconscious, weeks without water and not being sure if I would see my daughter again.
I'll take the risk and will drive over to her. I will cross borders and find a car for me within two days and with some luck, she has one too. Just to survive the winter.

The winter... if I think about it I feel the cold and fear it already. I try to ignore this season coming up although I know it will arrive sooner than expected. Just like last summer this one will be over before I can blink, recharge my battery from all those years with a lack of sun and energy.
The next days coming up I will use to start packing, cleaning, write again, and catch some extra sleep. I feel nervous about the long trip ahead but no matter what even dead I will arrive.
I have water again, most of the lawn is done, I have food and bones for my wolves, made copied of our IDs. The car is vacuumed, has it summer tires and the oil is changed. Tomorrow I start packing what needs to be moved, tomorrow when my battery is fully charged. For now I will only hang around.
