Dpoll 4: More Emotional in December
At least 50% of all Steemians does not celebrate Christmas, knows nothing about the "holiday season" or does not buy presents. I am part of it.
It is no tradition in the Netherlands to celebrate it.
There is no baby bringing presents or a Santa Claus. We have a tree that's it.
One of the Steemians who joined my contest wrote: "The December month, these 31 days, is a very emotional month to many people."
Old habits, media, commercials, advertisements, movies, magazines, etc. all paint us a picture of how the perfect Christmas should be celebrated. Fact is there are more singles and broken/unhappy families as happy ones.
Do you feel more emotional during the December months than the other eleven months of the year?

I misunderstood this question, wakeupkitty :). I meant positive emotions, I like December and Christmas :)

I am deeply emotional by default, independently from the month, but yes, I do get more emotional in december.
Does it influence your life, the December month. Have you found ways to make your life easier this month. For examole pampering yourself more or? Thank you for answering. 💕

This depends on the year. In this december I received a new desktop computer with a monitor from a community. This very positively influenced my life, because I used an old 13 years old laptop so far, which is still working, but not 100% functioning anymore, and I would not have been able to buy a new, nor a used computer. Neither a desktop PC, nor a laptop. But I also have a very negative experience with december. My mother died on 2017.12.17 because of brain tumor. One week before Christmas. She was born in 1953. She was 64 years old.
@xplosive I am sorry to hear about your mother. It must have been a very hard time for you in 2017 and it takes time to grieve and find yourself back. The holidays will not make it any better.
What a great gesture of that community to help you with a computer and monitor. That gives a positive vibe for sure. I hope you have a lot of fun and benefit from it.
