I gave my son my dolce gusto coffee machine.
It was just standing there for years, unused.
The last time it was used was by my ex son in law and he only visited us once a year since he lives in the USA.
By now the machine seems to be popular again.
I bought my son some cups for it in different tastes. We liked the caramel and since the Jumbo supermarket started in our village we thought (we is me) we could try their own brand. This would save us 1.50 euro.
It was a big mistake!
It smelled great in the house but according to my son, its taste was weird. I had to try it.
I can tell you he is right, the boy with the bad smell is right.
I do not know what I smell but it is terrible. It is hard to believe people like to drink coffee with such a nasty smell.
For now, we will hold our breath, close our nose and swallow. Next time it is Nescafe again.
PS I found some bigger googlyeyes. Sticking them on a hot mug with chewing gum is not a smart thing to do 😐

no wonder the cup looks so sad... the smell is half of the fun with a fresh cup of wakey-wakey-elixir!
I wonder what happened with that chewing gum? One hot sticky mess?
@wakeupkitty I love ground coffee made from old fashion coffee pot but being the only one who drinks coffee I do not make a pot. I learn to like instant but it has to be a name brand, I have tried the cheaper kinds and do not like the taste. I can imagine what happened to the gum on a hot cup.
