Giving up on the way is never a positive action. So guys I will love to share with you my experience here on steemit. When I joined steemit I saw many people making it big, people like @joeparys, @adsactly and @jerrybanifield . I also thought I could make it big like them trying all I could to get at least a dollar per post, but all seemed to be in vain. So I decided to focus on the passion I have for blogging. I spent up to a week in reputation 25, I thought I was gonna remain there for a month or two. But one day as I was going through new posts I stumbled on a tag called #ulog, owned by @ulog and @surpassinggoogle. I used the tag for the first time but nothing happened. I tried it the second time, there I got some upvote which earned me $0.36. That was my very first earning. But the earning wasn’t the point of attraction, what attracted my attention was my promotion from reputation 25 to reputation 26. “finally! I left reputation 25” I said to myself. So I kept on posting pictures and articles, though what I got was so discouraging, I never gave up.
WHAT DID YOU DO TO GET OUT OF REPUTATION 25?
I was angry to the point that I increased my posts to minimum of four posts per day. This, to me was like sending down the hook for a lucky catch. Beside creating post, I was so keen on upvoting others posts. I upvote and comment. And I discovered that some comments earned me some cents and I got to reputation 31, from there I got to 35, then I got to 36, then to 37, and to 38 I’m still expecting more progress because of hope.
Hoping for a better tomorrow is what’s keeping me up and doing here on steemit. You need to will your mind away from discouragement. Don’t look for reward before service, but service before reward.
