Tutorial for using Steepshot Telegram Bot

Steepshot is an Instagram-like to share your lifestyle on Steem Blockchain. They are providing simple platform for users to use Steem Blockchain.

They developed a Telgram Bot to publish a post, which is really easy way.

This tutorial will teach you how to use the Telegram Bot to publish posts and view feed.

First of all, you need a Telgram installed in your machine, like phone or PC or Mac. Confirm your Telegram works, then we may start now.

Firstly, we can start our Steepshot Bot by clicking the link. It should bring you to the Telegram application.

If you cannot open https://t.me/SteepshotBot to start the bot, you can also:

Search for Bot

Go to the Search and type "steepshotbot" in Telegram. You will find a Bot like this.

When you click on it, you will open a chatbox to the Steepshot Bot.

Start

You may now click "Start" to start chatting with the bot. You will see the bot provide only option, the "Log in" button. You should click it and wait for the bot response.

Enter your Steem Name

After you click "Log in", the bot will ask "What's you Steem username?". Then, you may now input your username, like me, it is waiyee422.

Posting Key

Now the bot will ask for your posting key. You can find your posting key in Steemit Site.
Please go in and find Wallet. Then, click on Premission. You will see different keys. This time you only need the posting key.
Go and click "Show your private key". You will get a posting private key so you copy the posting private key to the chat box and send it out. You may always delete it to revoke the premission from Steepshot Telegram Bot.

After setting with posting key, you have 5 options now.

• New
• Hot
• Top
• Settings
  

Feed

By clicking on Feed button and wait, you will get 5 message for 5 posts in feed category. You can click ❤️ to upvote the post, click Open to open it in browser, click Comment to leave a comment to the post.

New

By clicking on New button and wait, you will get 5 message for 5 posts in new category. You can click ❤️ to upvote the post, click Open to open it in browser, click Comment to leave a comment to the post.

Hot

By clicking on Hot button and wait, you will get 5 message for 5 posts in hot category. You can click ❤️ to upvote the post, click Open to open it in browser, click Comment to leave a comment to the post.

Comment

If you click comment for a post, the bot will ask "Enter your comment to this post.". You may now just type in your comment and send out. Then your comment is replied to the post.

Post New Post

You can send a photo with caption to post a new psot in your Steem Blockchain. The caption will be the title of the post. However, you cannot add content to the post.

After the bot replied you "Your post has been successfully added", you can go the Steepshot and see a new post is posted.

Settings

If you click "Settings" button, you may log out the bot. Just click "Back" to go back to the 5 options.
