[ENGLISH/한국어] DAEMO MOUNTAIN (대모산)
The temperature in Korea is going down and I always wanted to go to a mountain. There are a number of mountains in Seoul and I went to Daemo Mountain.
날씨가 많이 선선해지고 있고 산에 한번 가고 싶어서 대모산 다녀왔습니다.

I don’t think not many countries have mountains in their capital city. In Korea, going up mountains is a very popular activity. Many people go to get some exercise, get some fresh air, eat & drink while watching an amazing view.
수도에 산이 있는 국가는 많지 않을 것이라고 생각됩니다. 한국에서는 등산이 인기있는 액티비티고 운동하고, 맑은 공기 마시고, 좋은 경치를 바라보면서 먹고 마시러 갑니다.
Before going up, I bought a cup of ice coffee. I like having a cold coffee while going up. The caffeine keeps me awake and keeps me hydrated.
산 오르기 전에 아이스아메리카노 한잔 샀어요. 쉬원한 커피 마시면서 오르는 것을 좋아합니다. 카페인 때문에 잠도 깨고 수분 보충도 됩니다.

After an hour of climbing up, I’ve reached the top. It’s only 293 meters above the ground so it didn’t take too long.
한 시간 등산하다보니 정상에 도착했습니다. 293 미터 밖에 안돼서 금방 도착했습니다.
When you climb to the top of the mountain you have to eat & drink. I’ve packed gimbab. It tastes ten times better when you eat at the mountain!
산에 오르면 역시 먹고 마셔야합니다. 저는 김밥 챙겨왔습니다. 산 위에서 먹으면 10배나 더 맛있습니다!
Look at the amazing view of Seoul!! The sunlight was amazing today! That big tower is the Lotte Tower, the tallest building in Korea.
서울 구경하세요!! 오늘 날씨가 너무 좋았어요! 저기 대한민국에서 가장 높은 롯데타워도 보입니다.
It was time to head down. There were towers made of stones, quite neat!
하산하면서 돌탑도 봤습니다.
Many people were picking chestnuts and I hoped that they left some to the animals living in the mountain.
많은 사람들이 밥을 줏어가는데 산에 사는 동물들을 위해 너무 많이는 안 가져갔으면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.
If you don’t have mountains in your country and ever visit Korea, try going up one of them. There are a number of mountains in Seoul, doesn’t take too long to climb and you can get an amazing view of Seoul.

I have heard about asian countries from friends who school there. From them, they mostly say climatic conditions in asia is mostly cool and not that harsh. I would love to visit korea. I'm from Ghana
