Steem Accelerator Hub(STACH) Uyo, Nigeria-Official launch

The Steemit accelerator hub(STACH) in Uyo,Nigeria was officially opened today, the 20th day of January, 2017. It was an amazing event, which saw steemians from all over the country. We had a lot of newbies; @joshuaattat

which I personally brought to the steem ecosystem, in attendance. Top steemians like @nairadaddy, @destinysaid, @eurogee, @fisteganos, @ejemai, @ewuosu, @sussan, and @tojukaka graced the event.
The steemit accelerator hub was created to make available basic amenities, like power and internet, to steemians in the steemit-uyo community. Power and internet is a major challenge in this part of Nigeria. We go without power for weeks, and internet is a luxury beyond the reach of majority of the population. With the steem accelerator hub, this would be a thing of the past, thanks to the efforts of @ejemai, who initiated this idea.
