This shot is probably one of my favourite shots I have taken, for a few reasons. I took this on Christmas/New Year holiday to the isle of Islay near the West Coast of Scotland, we were on holiday with family and it was just such an amazing way to spend that time of year together and in such an amazing place. We went to the beach one day and it was so windy and incredibly cold, it looked like a storm was on its way and I luckily had my camera with me! I turned around after walking to the sea and saw Chris and my mum walking along the beach, they looked so small against the huge sand dunes and I got this shot, I just loved everything about it, the wind moving the reeds on the dunes around and how vast the scene looked. The thing that's amazing about Scotland is that you can most of the time have a beach to yourself, and to me that's a pretty amazing thought! Even on days like this when its definitely not warm enough to be in a t-shirt this place is still so beautiful. My entry for today's #landscapephotography contest by @juliank and @photocontests!

      Another kind of photo I'd never take :P
      Styles are so different and it's all very subjective. Realizing that I don't need to like other's works and stop comparing myself to others has been quite liberating.
      I hope you don't take this the wrong way :D

        Well it would be pretty boring if all photographers took the same photographs so don't worry I'm not taking it the wrong way! Art is always subjective! In order to be irreplaceable you must be unique :)
