A Mountain For Three Countries

Mount Roraima (Spanish: Monte Roraima [monte roɾaima], also known as Tepuy Roraima or Cerro Roraima; Portuguese: Monte Roraima [mõtʃi ʁoɾajmɐ]) is the highest in the Pakaraima plateau in tepui, South America.

It was first described by British explorer Sir Walter Raleigh in 1596.

Its peak area is 31 km2: 156 and on all sides is limited to 400 meters (1,300 feet). This mountain is a region of 3 countries: Venezuela (claims 85% of its territory), Brazil (5%) and Guyana (10%).
