"Do you want to build a snowman?"

There comes a day and a place in the lives of each of us when you can go back and act like a fool, have really good fun and overall transport yourself to the childhood years.

To me, these days come from time to time but they are usually connected with snow. Somehow, the inner child I have in me, comes out like a mouse to the cheese trap when it comes to snow and things that have anything to do with it. This year Semenic Mountains were the scene of me going back to my childhood and I have to say that I enjoyed the legendary snow we had there, every little bit.

When I went on and took the sleigh from the attic I was going among my friends like "Rosebud... Rosebud...". Of course nobody understood the joke apart from one or two but that was how I was feeling. I was squeezing that dirty, old sleigh to my chest and this time it helt so light. I remembered that it felt a lot heavier back when I was a child but hey, I got a little bit more meat on me since then.

It was a great day and eventhough I am accustomed to snow and crave for it, this few hours I had out, moving up and down the hill, with the sleigh behind me or under me, I'll clearly cherish the memory of it.

And I would recommend to all of you to take the time and get back to being a child even if it's for a couple of hours. It's therapeutic, really.
