July is a fun time to be an NBA basketball fan.

From coming off the high of the NBA finals to getting a chance to binge watch basketball in a similar fashion to what can be seen during March Madness, it's a great time.

I will be the first to admit the games aren't nearly as exciting as March Madness and they really don't matter all that much...

But, for a basketball enthusiast like myself, it makes for some great fun!

What am I most excited about?

This year the biggest names will all be in Vegas for the Vegas summer league. 

Fultz

Ball 

Tatum

Jackson 

Fox 

All there!

It is pretty rare to get all top 5 picks in the summer league at the same time. 

This year it will be hard to find a game that doesn't have a top 5 pick from this year's draft playing in it.

What team will I be watching the closest?

The Lakers of course.

Lonzo Ball is the next great superstar in my opinion and he is paired with another next great superstar in Brandon Ingram. 

So, if you want to know what I will be doing this weekend, it's watching basketball all weekend long, especially when the Lakers are playing.

I really should make the drive out to Vegas some time to watch this stuff first hand, maybe next year.
