Did you know?
As I was doing some browsing on the internet I stumbled upon an interesting fact regarding our skin.
Yes skin is nice and on some people it is even fun to look at it.
But...
Did you know:
There are more lifeforms living on our skin at any one time than there are people on planet earth.
It's true.
According to researchers, there are roughly a trillion individual microbes living on our skin at any one time.
That equates to roughly 100 times the total number of people on the planet.
Of those trillion microbes, there are roughly 1000 different species living on a typical human's skin at any one time. The mix of species varies from person to person as we all tend to have our own cocktail.
So the next time you get out of the shower and are feeling nice and clean, just remember, you aren't ;)
There is your fun fact for today.

Oh so true haha
Lovely day to you ⭐️
informative keeps sharing man.
thats very fascinating
We are all like little planets walking around hosting our own microcosms xD. In contrast to this though, a sharks skin has a micro-texture that is so small, bacteria cant stick to it, we are even beginning to use these texture patterns for medical surfaces in order to promote sterile environments. Check it out on my blog if your interested!
