Unconditional happiness: The third noble truth (Part two)

Sorry my friends, if I write a little recently, but I am very busy and I have a lot to do :( now I have a couple of free days so I'll try to get some nice posts.

Today I would like to finish talking about the third noble truth:

If you have your eyes open, I ask you to close them, and in your depth, in the way you feel, offer a short prayer:

May happiness, without cause, not born, manifest itself at the threshold of my understanding, , may my conscience be free enough from chains, slavery, collective illusion, to receive this extraordinary gift. May my understanding, go to the benefit of all beings and everything, may my light not belong to me anymore. With a whispering voice, open your hands and pronounce two simple words: THANK YOU.

For today's post I get inspired by the book "I Just That" by Nisargadatta.
A focus of spirituality and wisdom, regardless of religion.

This also wants to be an invitation for you to read:

"Read !!!! Now no one longer reads... today most of us read only facebook, whatsapp and the like, , WE HAVE TO READ !!!! And not just the bullshits we find on the internet, let's read what the great masters have handed down."

You have to know that Nisargadatta (The one in the picture) often lived on the floor at his son's home, and since he was an enlightened man who realized the absolute (I talk about it in the previous post) () he often had visitors who came to ask him questions.

One day a visitor (V) goes to Nisargadatta (N) and tells him:

(V) I see you, you are in your son's house, waiting for lunch, and I wonder if the content of your conscience is similar to mine or whether it is partially or entirely different, you are hungry and thirsty like me while waiting with some impatience that you have served the meal? Or are you in a state of mind completely above?

(N) at the surface level, there isn't a big difference, but deep there is an abyss ...You know yourself only through the senses and the mind, you think that you are what the senses suggest you to be (collective illusion) without having a direct knowledge of yourself, you have nothing but ideas, all mediocre, second-hand and borrowed from others.

Whatever you think you are, you take it for real, the habit of imagining yourself perceivable and descriptivable is well rooted in you, I drink, feel, taste and eat just like you, I'm also hungry and thirsty, just like you, and I expect the meal to be served, when I'm exhausted or sick the body and my mind weaken, I perceive this very clearly, but in a sense I'm not there, I'm not present, it's like I'm floating on it, indifferent and detached,
but in a sense neither indifferent and detached, there is indifference and disagreement, as there are hunger and thirst.

There is also the awareness of all this together with the feeling of being extremely distant, as if the body, mind and everything that happens to them were far away on the horizon.

I'm like a movie screen, clean and empty, the images go over and disappear, leaving it as clean and empty as before, the screen does not alter the images and is in no way influenced by them. It ntercepts and reflects Images for some, but does not distort, not modify or hold them.

Has nothing to do with roles in movies, film is what's your role in the world, film is what it is, a vague sequence of fate, not my fate, but the destiny of characters on screen.

(Is Nisargadatta saying that karma concerns only the role, not the essence behind it?
Hell yes!!! When we realize this, we no longer have a karma, we are completely free, what are we talking about? The Nirvana.)

(V) But do not you want to say that the characters of a movie have a destiny?

(N) Do you think you have it? Do you think you are different from the character of a movie? Are you modeling your life? Or is life shaping you?

(V) You are right, the story of life takes place, I am one of the actors, I do not exist outside of the story, as the story can not exist without me, I am just a character, isn't it?

(N) The character identifies with a person when he begins to model his life, thinking of being that role instead of accepting it and let it flow as it is.

(V) What exactly happens when I ask you a question and you answer me?

(N) Both the question and the answer appear on the screen, the lips move, the body speaks, and then the screen returns clean and empty.

(V) What do you mean with clean and empty?

(N) Free of any content, as far as I am concerned, I am not perceptible and conceivable, there is nothing that I can point to and then say "this is me", you are so easy to identify with something, but for me it is impossible, I'm not this or that, and nothing is mine. For me it is such a strong feeling that as soon as an object or a thought appears, the answer immediately arises, this is not me.

(V) means that you spend the time asking yourself: I'm not this, I'm not that?

(N) Certainly no, the main change occurred in my mind, which has become immobile and silent, quick to react, but without perpetuating any thought, spontaneity has become a way of life, unreal has become natural , And the natural has become real, and above all began reigning infinite affection, mysterious and impersonal love, quiet, radiating everywhere, embracing everything and making it interesting and wonderful, meaningful and magical.

Do you see how much we have to learn from the great masters?

To conclude I leave you as usual with a reflection, I would like you to read these words from the most badly interpreted book of all: The Book of Revelation:

"The dead will hear my voice, the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live"

Is it possible that the dead are not just lazarus and those locked in the coffins? But that we are too? And that we have to wake up to start living really?
