LIVING IN POSSIBILITIES

Text: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matt 19:26

The life of a believer is the life of God. We have his life in us. The ability of God resides in our spirit; the capacity of Christ is functioning inside us. The life of God is a life of possibilities. There were several individuals in the Bible who had almost impossible cases; but the possibilities of God answered for them.
It was medically impossible for Sarah to conceive at such an advanced age. But thank God that the possibilities of God answered for her. The red sea was scientifically impossible to cross by the Jews; the possibility of God answered for them. The wall of Jericho was physically an impossible wall to surmount. It was so wide and so strong that the Jews could never have gone into the city. God’s possibilities made a way for them. Mary initially questioned the possibility of a woman getting pregnant without a man. The angel had to explain to her “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37). We can go on and on to see the possibilities of God in the face of human impossibilities.

This is the realm that God wants us to live as a way of life. As we interact closely with God challenges will begin to shrink in proportion compared to the possibilities of God available to us. Daniel had walked closely with God to the point that he knew it was possible to interpret the dream of the King. All the magicians in the land had failed; but he understood the possibilities of God. The three (3) Hebrew boys understood cleanly that with God it was impossible to burn in the furnace. David saw the possibilities of God as he was facing Goliath; King Saul and his men could not see it.

We live in possibilities as we see God in everything. We must make this conscious decision to focus purely on God in everything. The more we see God the more we see possibilities. He’s our healer, he’s our provider and he’s our way maker.

CONFESSION:
There is a divine possibility in every aspect of my life. I see God in every issue of my life.
