Winking Lioness - contemplating romance or dinner? Original photos content.
I was not prepared to wait and find out though, when this lovely Lioness walked within 6 feet of our car and winked at me!
Seeing that I was not romantically inclined or likely to be a nice meal, she walked away ... while I continued holding my breath!
After a short walk, she sat down withing springing distance and once again gave me a look of contemplation. However, safe inside my car (?), I slowly inched away and disappeared from her menu....

Jokes apart - Lions are magnanimous creatures who do not attack without reason. They kill to satisfy hunger and not for fun. Please spread the message and awareness to help these lovely animals survive and prosper.
They only attack you if they are hungry or threatened by you !
