Lonely Travels
Traveling back to America after 8 months in Russia wasn't fun. This photo portrays the overall feelings I was experiencing.
Guangzhou airport and after 12 hours of waiting in Harbin and another 8 hours in Guangzhou for the longest part of the journey.
15 more hours to go, I don't have many words to say about this but I am sure once it all sinks in there will be plenty on my mind. The high's and low's of international travel can't very easily be put into words. Just need to find a place to rest, have some wine and food.

This was a very strange trip, Harbin is not my favorite place. Had some trouble here dealing with staying in a hotel, because on the way to Vladivostok it was miserable in this airport for so many hours. Its not much better in the hotels but at least it was private and had a comfortable place to rest. We met a russian girl in the airport who was traveling alone and afraid that joined us at our hotel, so it was nice meeting a new friend.

At least the white wine looks okay to me, but the dinner is average for food at airport!
You are crossing several time zones! This will be quite disorientating. Have a good nap on the plane!
I know the feeling! I still remember my feeling of traveling by plane for the first time in my life!

the journey is complete. I am safe on the ground in California. I wanted to post on the way but I don't travel with my phone turned on. I like to pay attention to what's happening around me and the phone can be very distracting.

The act of traveling is no fun until you reach your destination.
I was not very excited about the destination this time, so i feel pretty bad and depressed upon arrival, hopefully this feeling will subside quickly

The food was ok, Chinese food is not my favorite and airport food even less appealing to me, but it was better than airplane food
