Here we go! The first artwork I will introduce is this masterpiece by IKEDA:
STAY WITH HUMANITY

There was also an inspiring text about the inspiration for this project, which I like to share with you:

All human endeavors must have as their point of origin a concern for people's welfare and a desire to contribute to human happiness. Otherwise, the human race will ultimately just continue to stumble aimlessly, from darkness into darkness. If that happens, what use to us then are economics, politics and culture? Everything depends on people, on their character, the development of their humanity. (Ikeda)
As daughter of political refugees myself and mindful activist, I started this campaign to aware attention about the lack of empathy worldwide but also to show that there is always hope and that we together as human race can be a force of change for a better future. It's a creative way to use your voice and show the world that "artivism" is one of the best and most beautiful "forces" to create a better world for all of us.
This initiative of the longterm social art project "Project Wallflowers" tries to plant little seeds of empowerment and activism - showing that humanity can be beautiful - that we as human beings can create spaces of togetherness where our passion, empathy and determination for a change and equality are the only things that matter - especially in times of xenophobia, homophobia, racism and mediocrity. Thats why I created the "activism" blog: #StayWithHumanity which hopefully will inspire people to raise their voice & stand up.

DR MOLROK started his art career with classic graffiti in Eastern Germany. At some point his pieces became three dimensional. These days he builds extremely dynamic sculptures, mainly from metal which still remind you heavily of wildstyle graffiti. The 3D effects that graffiti achieves with colors are real in his work. Mostly he installs his pieces on walls which he paints similar to graffiti backgrounds and clouds. If possible, he adds light to increase 3D effects, shadows and dynamics.

ANDREAS PREIS is now debuting on Millterntor Gallery's walls. He is present with one of his elaborate animal motives. His work is known for is deepness in details which he creates spontaneously. Often his creations appear complete after just one day, but will receive two more days of dedicated detail finish. This is how they develop their unique style and appearance. Take the time to observe all the little extras. It's worth it!

JENS RICHTER intensely researched the term utopia for his work. It means "no place". The resulting freedom and wideness of space gave him the idea for an underwater scenario. He thinks space and freedom are the integral base for utopia to develop. His symbol of utopia is a whale, one of the oldest mammals on earth, which develop in the water. He decided for a baby whale to show how utopia starts small, but has potential to become something big and important. But it needs protection grow - this is provided by the hands which shelter him softly without holding back or blocking.

ARTEZ is originally from Belgrad and paints giant murals over the world. Most of his murals show persons, plants and animals and integrate the close environment. The fascinating results make Artez a permanently booked artist. Like in his earlier passion for competitive sports he works with speed and ambition. In his recent creations he shows persons which are not recognizable as individuals since they have plats instead of heads. Watering cans symbolize self care as well as care for others. The person's position in Artez Millerntor Gallery work might remind some of a position usually associated with the use of fire arms.

Except art, there was a "Blind Date" box where you can get a random tattoo for free. For example you put your arm inside and get an fish as a tattoo. FullSizeRender-8.jpg
