Do you have a forgotten bottle of wine sitting around your kitchen? What if I told you, you could mix wine & liquor to create something amazing? This cocktail is called Sangria. Sangria is a blend of wine, liquor, & fruit; known to give you a great head change.😝
I love red wine Sangria it is my personal favorite, but if you like white wines it will work as well. No discrimination on the sangrias! If you have these items in your refrigerator then you're set. You can also get these items at a gas station or your nearest store.
The items I have in my refrigerator are:
🔸Orange juice
🔸Lime juice
🔸Cranberry juice
🔸Margarita mix
Of course you don't have to have these EXACT items. As long as you have some juices you will be fine & if you have fruit that is even better!
Be sure to just add a splash of the ingredients you want to add. Also, don't be afraid to taste what you're creating. That way you know if the juice might be too bitter or too sweet to your liking. 😌
Add your ingredients to a large cup with ice. If you don't have a shaker it's all good! Grab another cup you can put on top so you are able to shake the juice. Strain or pour into your glass you will use to sip your Sangria. If you have a shaker, strain over ice. (Like the picture below)
After you have the juice in the glass, you can pour the wine into the glass. You can also shake the wine with the juice if you wish. I personally don't recommend only because the wine isn't as rich anymore once it's shaken. The decision is yours of course.☺️
