Genesis Mining - Is it a real mining company or just paying as per your investment

I invested in Genesis mining for ethereum contract (2 years).. and the thing about the daily payout is they just adjust the payout based on the current price of the ethereum .. if the current price is less they pay more ethereum on a day. that means it dont mine it.. it just pays out certain ethereum based on your initial investment.. I believe i will not be recover even my initial investment,,, it is just a scheme to get some dollars from you...

The Genesis Mining Contract is a lot more complex than simply taking the hash rate you pay for and running a standard mining calculator. That being said, it is almost never profitable. Ethereum mining has become extremely difficult for anyone at this point, but Genesis (naturally) ensures that their expenses and profit are taken care of before they pay you. Their customer service is also awful.

Agreed.....I bought their Ethereum contract way back. I do not think i will able to see my returns. Very much like I just flush my money down the toilet! At the end of the 2 years contract, I am pretty sure I cannot even recover 50% of my initial investment.
Glad I gave them a miss. I was thinking of signing up a few months ago but decided against it. That being said they do seem legitimate in what they offer.
Yes, they are legit in what they offer. It is just not a good investment.

Genesis is the real mining company. But Ether is not much profitable now. In fact BTC also not much profitable. I am with Hashflare and mining BTC good experience
