Super Smash Bros India Never Stoppin'
It has been over a year since @qwertz143 has been running Super Smash Bros Melee tournaments at the most premium gaming cafe in the city of Bangalore, India.
LXG(League of Extraordinary Gamers) has been home to most of the advancements in the gaming industry in India. They don't want to miss out on any opportunity to make gaming a thing in India and encouraging gamers to bring out the best in them and allowing the showcasing of non-mainstream or unpopular games in India goes a long way.
The Melee tournaments have been going on for over a year now. Hosting tournaments as a monthly thing, hoping for it to become something more and make something bigger happen for this particular game in India even though there is close to no following of the game unless you're a Nintendo fan in India. Really hard to find since Nintendo doesn't even have an official presence in India unlike Sony and Microsoft leading the gaming industry in the country.
March was an amazing month for the monthly. The top two Indian players didn't show up but we saw those dedicated players come back to distract themselves from their daily routine to actually want to play in these tournaments. In my own opinion, it is PRETTY awesome.
These players have got much better since a year ago when all of us were just newbies to the game and the scene itself but we have grown as a community, as people and as friends. Video games bring people together and what better game than Smash? Most of them don't have the resources or the opportunity to be able to play multiplayer, and mind you, Melee never had online multiplayer capabilities until some of the crazies made sure that the whole world knew about the game and what was possible when people came together because of this game.
Being cramped up in a small room with a bunch of people grew on us and we so want to be able to do this on a bigger scale and someday we will, but until then, this is all we have and we're glad we have it.
We got loads of pictures from the March monthly at LXG, thanks to @darkxlight6. Cheers, mate.

Nice to know such gaming tournaments are happening in Bangalore and give an opportunity to meet game lovers and have some relaxing moments out of the busy schedule people will have.
Best wishes for the expansion of this to attract even more people and grow as a group.
Got over here through the nominated posts channel of IndiaUnited Discord Channel.
My motivation is taking a path much less taken if it drives your passion and I agree that for change to happen we need to be the change.
Great to know that, I am just a new member into IndiaUnited channel and trying to know as many Indians as possible.
Have a great week ahead :)
