IS BLOCKCHAIN HACKABLE? Advanced Blocks Chapter 6 - Beginners guide to Blockchain
Hello Everyone, Today we are going to talk about the more advanced version of Block hash. We will learn that how a block is tied in blockchain along with Hash. As the series going on the chapters are getting more advanced than the previous ones so do check my previous Chapters to get the Idea of what are we doing here. So lets start!
Advance Block Hash
So till now we know What is Block Hash and the basic components of Block. But the blocks that we are use in blockchain are the more advanced version than we saw in the last chapters. The block we are going to see has ONE more additional component called as PREV . The architecture of blockchain is quite simpler but its too complex as it goes further ,it is also known as DIFFICULTY LEVEL. This difficulty level provides the untempered strength to the blockchain. We will also see that is BLOCKCHAIN IS HACKABLE? or Not.
Now we have one more additional component n the architecture of block is Previous or Prev. The basic block were had 4 components but in the Advanced version of Blocks we got.....
1.Block Number
2.Nonce
3.Data
4.Previous
5.Hash

So We already know the most of the components of Blocks but now we got Prev. The prev or Previous is the field which contains the hash address of its ancestor block or the previous block. The previous field actually binds every block in a block chain. We already know that if we temper the data of any block than that block becomes invalid in that case we mine it! to make it valid. But in a blockchain where every block is inserted in every 10 Minutes ,it become difficult to mine it in that limited time! That's Why we have so much Miners, so that we can continue to mine and validate blocks.

Blockchain is Hackable but I will briefly describe that how it is possible in the end of this chapter!
Previous
If you see the hash generated in Block 1 is same as the key in the PREVIOUS field of Block 2. That is how previous is used by tie-ing up every block with each other. This previous field provide temper less strength to the block chain.
Lets see what will happen If I change the Data of one of the block
As we thought the every next block that is added after Block 2 is now become invalid. That is how it provides the strength . So if anyone tried to temper the data the every other front block will become invalid.
So how to recover invalid blocks?
The answer is simple, MINE IT!. You have to mine each and every blocks that are invalid in blockchain.
Time to answer Is blockchain hackable or not?
YES! Blockchain is hackable. But to do that you need to take over the 51% computers that are present in the blockchain. Not only this you have to validate each and every block that is in the blockchain after tempering that using Mine. To do this all you have 10 Minutes . If you failed to do it than you will be easily detected.
Facts
Its hard to hack and access to 51% of computers in the blockchain. Think it!

may may be with 3 - 4 Chineese companies controlling, such a hack might be possible. During the bitcoin cash fork and segwti2x there were rumours that the miners are collaborating to make bitcoin cash the default blockchain. Tampering is technically feasible but the practicality and the logistics involved is difficult IMHO.

Bro I got u! What if some one becomes the admin of the blockchain or get access to it. Than no software is needed to hack in. Being centralized is the threat to blockchain
