Messaging-type applications are essential for socialization. However, we do not always have complete control of the data we share. Our privacy is something important to be considered in the online world.

In the same way, we have an increase in the number of users interested in the world of cryptocurrencies. We have several cryptocurrencies and tokens for various functions, including privacy and messaging applications. Get to know the DMME messaging application in this article!

What is DMME?

DMME will be a messaging application, focused on security, anonymity and total user control over your contacts, allowing authorization or blocking of them. Remember that it does not require you to use a phone number, that is, you will not be tracked. The application will be paid for, not having ads and part of each subscription will be given back, in ETH, to the community, being implemented in the future.

Roadmap and History

The project roadmap is divided into 5 phases, between the years 2019 and 2020, and there is only information from the first 3 quarters of the year 2019. The fourth quarter of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 are to be determined still.

In the beginning, DMME was a cryptocurrency with blockchain itself with the following old specifications:

Then, after a decision by the project team, it was decided to create the ERC-20 DMME token and perform a swap in the ratio 1:10 for the former holders. I thought it was a very good decision for the team, because it opened up a world of possibilities. It's easier to find good developers who know how to tinker with Ethereum's Blockchain and add features like smart contracts, tokens transfer via the app, and ultimately give the asset a greater use.

The application launch is planned for the month of September.

Staking Rewards:
Holding on, starting at 100 DMME, you get, on a monthly basis, a reward of 5% of the total hold. An ERC 20 token has the benefit of being stored in any wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens (Ledger, My Ether Wallet and Metamask) without having to download a proprietary wallet.

Logo

In addition to switching to an ERC-20 token, there was a rebranding in the DMME brand. Several logos were created for community voting. And what was chosen is the one presented above. Personally, I liked it because I like minimalist things.
About the meaning of it, we have: A speech bubble, indicating a messaging application. And a lock to represent security and privacy and the slogan, representing the 3 ticks: Safe. Secure. Anon.

Project team

The project team is composed, so far since the article, by 5 people plus a digital agency of mobile application developers. Everyone performs well from development and programming to marketing. Remembering that 24 hours are available on social networks, offering support to the community.
