Don`t waste your life!

Hello my friends! I am not blogging so often now, it is going to be my wife`s birthday soon and we are making all necessary preparations. She will celebrate the anniversary - 60 years old and I can`t believe how fast years passed. I remember our meeting as it was yesterday. It seems that just a few years ago our daughter was born and I helped her doing the homework but now our daughter is 33 and has her own kid. Well...I refuse to admit that I am an old man and try not to remember my age.)) 

But anyway transience of time makes me think about how short our life is. Never think you have a lot of time ahead and if you want to do something, do it right now because who knows what it will be tomorrow... Have you heard the quote by Bill Keane: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.” I totally agree with these words. I have noticed that most of people always live in future rather than present and they don`t notice that they waste their life this way.  They worry about future so much that don`t enjoy the present.  If you are not living in the present, it means that you are living in illusion.  If you are living in the present it means you admit your life how it is now and learning to enjoy each moment of it. Don`t let you life pass without living it, it is too short not to value it this way. Besides, focusing on the present can help you to avoid overthinking. To stop overthinking means to find peace of mind.  It means to take control of your life because you can never predict future and if you are worrying about the past or the future at the present moment, it means you are robbing yourself of your time right now but time is the biggest treasure and we should appreciate it. Learn to be grateful for everything you are having  and appreciate each second of your life.
