SECRET TO SELF-GROWTH
Hello my beautiful people out there! Hope your Saturday has been cosy cos' mine has been awesome. Today I want to share with us some attitude to imbibe since we want to achieve self-growth. I want us to grow higher in every part of our lives. Most times we pays deaf ears to what our heart is telling us.
If we must achieve self-growth, we must:
Guide your self thoughts: We have the power to think positively and act accordingly. Sometimes we don't know the Giant that lies innately in us. And this has denied many of their dreams. I remember when I was first told about Steemit, I felt I could not offer anything to this platform. I felt nobody will want to sit and read the gibberish I'm gonna be writing. But thank God today I feel very confident writing and I've been so happy with myself and now it's more like a lifestyle to me.
Don't Compare Yourself with others: People are different with different destinies and we shouldn't look at ourselves as inferior because we've not gotten to the height where the other person is.
Add Value to others: If you want to grow, you have to be ready to add value to people that needs it. Sometimes we want something in life but yet there are people that need the minutest thing you can ever think of. I heard about a man that came to church to ask God to give him money to buy the latest car and as he was praying he discovered that there's a man beside him that was crying aloud to God for food for that night and he looked at himself knowing fully well that he is better of than the man, he decided to settle the man himself and asked him to go. He felt what the poor man was asking for is something not so much that he can give out at the snap of his fingers.
Do the right thing: Believe me, there's no shorter route to the right destination. Just do the right thing already!
Discipline Yourself: I love disciplined people. If you are discipline; you've won me half-way. Just be a man/woman of integrity. Even God loves disciplined people.
Celebrate Victory: This is when you must have believed in yourself enough. You can celebrate it in anticipation that you have achieved you success already. Of course, success doesn't happen by accident it takes a lot of hard work.
