Dream dream dream.. (Freewrite Sunday)

As I write this my boy is falling asleep next to me into dreamland...
Hope my soft alarm doesn’t wake him 😜

Dream dream dream is a song from childhood, my dad would sing it on the guitar, it was the only song I remember him singing and playing on the guitar.
Thinking about it brings me back to happy feels in childhood.
Do you dream every night? Well apparently the hubby says he doesn’t cos he doesn’t remember them. But I know for sure I dream the moment I drift into light sleep if I’m really tired and zoning out.. I used to keep a dream journal cos I loved to decipher dreams but lately I’ve not been having good sleep, lots of broken sleep really so it’s made me forget a lot of the dreams I’ve had, or I may have a nightmare because of it and stay up thinking about it and not daring to go back to sleep for that little while.
I love exploring the themes in my dreams.. and when I first dated my husband he said he had dreamed about me before.. he had some kind of strange premonition. That really got me into dreams and meanings hehe.. later though, after much googling and discussion, I found out it was because he had some link in his brain that made new memories into old ones.. intriguing eh?

And there you go my 5 minute free write. Twas a bit hard because my boy is whinging now next to me, I hope he goes down soon so we can get some good nights rest ourselves.
