There was a railway going around Paris that was mainly used by merchandise trains and . This railway was build in two distinct sections in 1851 and 1867. In 1900, it's frequentation dropped as the metro started functioning for the universal exhibition in Paris.

Today the railway is abandoned except for a section that is used by a modern train running on the east side of the French capital. The rest is left out for nature to take over, anyone can access the spot byt it is not legally allowed and required a good physical condition.

For this abandoned shit contest, I take your for a ride on these tracks :)
