Today Is The Day I Became A Dolphin - Thank You STEEM and I'm Loving The Bear Market
How Much STEEM you own doesn't really matter much. What matters is the amount of SP you own. SP denotes the value of your VESTS in STEEM. 15% of all newly minted STEEM is allocated for those who hold VESTS. This effectively result in sort of a 1.8% interest on the SP value of your account. Those who own SP are informally categorized into types:
Below 500SP = Plankton/Red Fish
500SP+ = Minnow
5,000SP+ = Dolphin
50,000SP+ = Orca
500,000SP+ = Whale
Based on the above information from @arcange I'm part of the 0.2% although it doesn't feel like I'm a huge deal in any significant way. I remember having a conversation with @toofasteddie few months ago about reaching Dolphin status before the end of the year. But at the time it seemed impossible and I hoped STEEM prices would go down and remain there. Lucky for me that's exactly what happened.
I Don't Want To See STEEM Bull At Least Until SMTs
It's fine not to have SBD printed. You get a lot of STEEM. In fact the amount of STEEM I get as payouts grew 3-5 times during the bear market. This is something I'm very happy about. I still cannot claim accounts using my RC. It seems new accounts are claimed a lot and you now need a little over 5600SP to claim accounts.

There are many places to make money at. But the greatest massive online community on Earth is STEEM. For that i'm very grateful and i'm glad to have met many of you. I wouldn't be a Dolphin today if it wasn't for your support. The deep and insightful discussions and kindred spirits I've met here is simply massive. That is actually the best part about STEEM. No amount of funds can buy that. The best part is that you actually get more funds while you are engaged in these discussions.

I may try to buy some Steem here pretty quick. I just had some major expenses come up, like having to have a new hot water tank installed in the house. Once I unwind those expenses I’m definitely looking into it!
I too only had very tiny amount of money left to put into crypto. But i've gained a lot in terms of STEEM although I lost a lot in USD.
