Happy 18,000,000 Bitcoin Day :) 18 Million Bitcoin mined 🥇
Heute hat Bitcoin einen neuen Meilenstein erreicht und zwar wurde der 18 millionste Bitcoin generiert. Das heißt, dass in Zukunft nur noch 3 Millionen Bitcoin (14,2%) gemined werden, bis die endgültige Obergrenze von 21 Millionen im nächsten Jahrhundert (ca. 2140) erreicht wird.
In Wirklichkeit sind weniger als 18 Millionen Bitcoin in Umlauf, da bereits einige Millionen Coins verloren gegangen sind oder "geburned" wurden. Vor allem Coins aus der Anfangszeit, wo man noch sorgloser mit den wertvollen Coins umgegangen ist.

Today Bitcoin has reached a new milestone with the mining of the 18 millionth Bitcoin. This means that only 3 million Bitcoin (14.2%) will be mined in the future until the ultimate upper limit of 21 million is reached in the next century (approx. 2140).
In reality, there are less than 18 million Bitcoins in circulation as several million coins have already been lost or burned. Especially coins from the early days, when the valuable coins were handled more carelessly.

bin mir jetzt nicht sicher, aber ich glaub das wirkt sich auch auf den BTC block reward aus.
Der Block-Reward wird erst mit dem nächsten Halving halbiert, 18 Millionen ist eher eine psychologische Sache ;)
