From writing to visual arts! is there anything you cant do? Keeep on creating lady, you are so brilliant at it!
So far, although I can sew, I can't make any of these wonderful digital clothes myself. I don't expect I will learn that skill, but I will see if I can learn how to edit existing clothing to make what I want.
Oh, and just wait and see me play with the new tool I actually paid for. It's awesome!
I've learned so much over the past two years - learning new tricks to get my job done. See, a book cover costs at least $600. And that's without all the weird stuff I need... So, I see it as an investment. I can't afford to pay an artist to do my covers, but I can learn how to make them myself.
I can't draw well enough to make people, but I can learn to do 3D modelling, using someone else's skills to make my book covers.
600 dollars a cover!! That's pretty steep!! Kudos to you for making a plan though! Upskil, Upskil, upskill. I'm pretty much the same with my job. If I can do it myself without trying on someone else and speed up the process I do it. So big respect to you!! Looking forward to the end product!!

I love being able to do this work - huge sense of accomplishment. I'm just wrapping up an erotic romance that will start in the next couple of weeks - I decided to throw it out there as it comes before Freyja's Fire - which was what that most recent cover is for. I finished the 3D part of my cover for this one this morning... Still need to take it through Gimp and Photoscape for finishing. There's always more to do... but this one was a lot more fun - for the most part. I much prefer having characters love each other than kill each other!
