Yes, chicks are great! We can't keep them where we are, so we try to visit them every other day or so. (We missed a day this week due to a snow storm that made road conditions treacherous.) But yes, they help to destress.
The panic about this virus is crazy. Yes, it's bad, but our attitudes towards it will do a huge amount for (or against) us. Remember that 97% survive, not that 3% die... and do your best to make sure you're part of that 97%. And yes, being joyful will do so much for you!
I don't get it why people need to stock up on toilet paper or anything else - there is nothing to indicate that we will very soon be out of toilet paper - people are so crazy sometimes - Did you see that clip on Facebook where people were fighting for some toilet paper - one of them had a cart full of it - I just don't get it haha :)
I didn't see that one. It's just crazy. And the panic to buy toilet paper has caused a shortage... It's not like we were running out, everyone suddenly had to buy 6 months worth! Cloth helps - really. I find I have less irritation when I use cloth. And really, it can't be much worse than cloth diapers, right? Especially if you just use them for pee.
Of course, if some of our big manufactures get their toilet paper made in China, there might be an employee shortage for a bit... but I don't know if we get TP from China or not... probably not.
