Starz closed "Ash vs Evil Dead"

The Starz TV channel announced that the current third season "Ash vs Evil Dead" will be the last. The reason for closing the show, launched in 2015, is the continuing drop in ratings.

"Ash vs Evil Dead" was for me one of the best experiences, and the role of Ashe Williams is the role of my whole life, "said Bruce Campbell. "It was an honor for me to reunite with our partners in The Evil Dead, Robert Tapert and Sam Raimi, to please the indefatigable fans with another outrageous mix of horror and comedy that they so demanded. I will always be grateful to Starz for the opportunity to return to the franchise that once gave start to our careers."

The release of the final episode of the third season and the series as a whole is scheduled for April 29.
