My dream - the hovering hammock
I've been thinking about artificial intelligence the past few days. I've been contemplating joining my ablities with the people around me who share the same ideals. I've also maintained the reminder with myself that my mind does not work in the same way as so many others. And realize fully that the opportunities that are set out in front of me aren't always the same for everyone else.
So, I'm not trying to say that what I say or do is any more special than anyone else. I like to stay humble. But, I've always been a bit of a weirdo growing up. And to this day, I find myself constantly reminding myself, that I don't walk the beaten path.
I enjoy writing. I enjoy exploring. I enjoy doing things that I haven't done before, or would have ever thought I'd be doing if I were able to see myself a year, a month, or a decade ago.
I've gone through alot of changes, and had alot of things bring me to the spot that I am today.
For the past three or four years, I've been working on realizing my dream. I've mentioned it here before, but I know that my readership is not what it could be. So, I may sound a little redundant if you've been following my blog space. But I want to change the world for the better. I want to enrich the lives of the masses. I want us all to release the tensions and burdens that we have so willfully accepted in our lives.
Of course, note everyone wants these things. And for those people I say. Congratulations on your base level plebian acceptance and desire for control. Of course, if you are a part of the latter. You likely haven't heard of steemit at all.
We all maintain a certain level of control in our lives which is rooted from the world we live. From external sources. The taxation, the reliance on support from systems that provide for us that nourishment and assistance we need in our lives. It's a good thing. But I believe in a better way of living.
I believe we can all work together without having to fight over the monetary means of our world. I seek to dispose of those levels of constraint. And draw my dreams closer to me.
So, one of my dreams is to create a hovering device which will be suspended by an amount of magnetic repulsion from our earths own magnetic core. A hovering bar or rod, which will be guided by simple gestures or manipulations from a human passenger which is nestled inside of a cocoon like shape that we know as the hammock.
By utilizing these controls, we will be able to extend ourselves away from the gravitational effects that bind us to the planets surface. Whether it be by the capture of natural gusts of wind, or simply the expulsion of the gravitational pull; my dream extends to a point that we will be able to travel around the globe without the application of prehistoric technologies like the steam engine, or other combustion engines.
My thought has extended to the possibility of utilizing a small nuclear core which we know has a rather substantial half life. But deep down, I do not feel that this would be necessary. There are many other things that will be discovered. Or have already been discovered and buried for the further raping and pillaging of our species as a collective.
Whatever the reason is, we cannot deny that technologies have been kept from us. Also, it may be like Nicola Tesla said. We are not ready as a people to bring these things together for ourselves. But, this does not mean its not possible to come to a time that we will be able to do these things.
So, here is to my hovering hammock. The sakalaka hammaka mobile.
