there was similar group on flickr, 100 portraits of stranger or something like that, but you had to introduce yourself and ask some info about the people you photographed. as i live in a place where no one is really a stranger, and when i go somewhere i always found excuses i never started it. It is a great exercise, especially for someone like me, who is not comfortable with approaching people.

i remember this project on Flicker. and also a few other projects about the same concept to take a fast portrait of someone absolutely stange for you. Here in Israel it was simple to approach ppl for this. mostly ppl agree to ba a part and also would like to say their life story after the few minutes session. i did many portraits - in color and in BW
