Greetings to all members of this community hope you had a wonderful week mine was stressful because of school activities that is also the reason I was not active for some days now I am so excited to participate in this contest.
Well I have a very lovely family both nuclear and extended family. But as the case may be we have aged and dependent family members . Unfortunately they are my grandparents.

How the family have been caring for them
Every member of the family are taking active part in making sure that they are taken care of ranging from my elder uncle to the last born everybody are helping in one way or another though I am not with them again I still pray for them so that they can recover quickly. Back then when I used to stay with me I used to sweep wash their clothes assist in farm work and also assist in cooking but now my uncle is staying with them. My father and his brothers also provide financially for them so that they can take their drugs when due. On my own part like I said earlier I do pray to God to protect them and see them through. At times I do call them to know their welfare.

What makes them dependent
It is as result of both age and circumstances. Even sickness and old age do add to the fact that they are dependent. Due to their age they cannot do what they used to do before. Also hard labor and going to farm every day and carrying of heavy goods also adds to the fact that they are dependent. Age is another factor for their dependent on their children.
The joy derived in caring for them.
To be honest I don't know if anyone can derive pleasure and joy when someone is suffering and passing through a lot. But I am happy that all the steps taken are not in vain.
Conclusion
We should always show love to our elderly ones who cannot do what they used to do when they were young. We should also avoid the habit that the older ones are old school and most importantly the impression that aged ones are witches. We need to debunke such impression because the aged and elderly ones are more experienced than us and the also need our love and support.

Your grandpa is very handsome and lucky one who have son like your father and your uncle who always help him financially. At this age big issue is medical and this help can help him to buy drugs.
