Elevetor pitch is a persuasive business tool used to sell your business idea to a potential partner with a short time frame. An elevator pitch conversation should be brief within 1 to 3 minutes.
In order to apply elevator pitch in selling your business ida, you should understand the elements of elevator pitch.
The following below are important elements of an elevator pitch.
#1. Understanding the Client:
First you must understand the characteristics of the client you want to market to idea to.
#2. Praise Principle:
Before you begin selling you idea to your potential client (partner), you should praise or acknowledge the positive achievement of the client. Almost everyone including myself loves to be praised (acknowledged).
#3. Sell your idea:
After successfully applying first and second elements, then it time to strick! sell your idea as brief as possible.
#4. Benefit Principle:
Briefly tell the client what he/she stands to benefit. Nobody will ever want to do anything without any form of benefit.
#5. Extend principle:
Since elevator pitch is very brief, look forward to a future meeting with the client by simply giving out your business card, requesting for the client business card or requesting for an appointment with the client.
